architect’s lamp

Lamp’s prototype for the "design" project’s module (fifth year in ENSAT)

The goal of this project was simply to conceive a lamp and I decided to work on student’s mobility.

At the time, I remembered the lack of effective lightings in the school I was coming from when we were working late, so I wanted to make something easy to carry, hence the electrical outlet which acts as a shoulder strap.

The concept is also customization; I wanted to allow easy modification of components of the lamp. All elements are interchangeable, and the connection between the lamp and arms where a low-voltage flows are made through a Jack plug.

The aluminum hull was welded by "Taille de fer", a company based in Avignonet Lauragais.

The assembly, wiring, sewing and assembly of the entire prototype was made by myself with the help of some friends.
